ABOUT MATCH FOSTER CARE
Your Local Foster Care Agency in the West Midlands
Match is a friendly, family-run fostering agency. It was started in 2012 by Carrie and Simon Marsh. Carrie’s parents were foster parents and Carrie counts the young people who she grew up with as her brothers and sisters. This experience inspired Carrie to start up her own fostering agency, based upon her own values of family membership. Carrie and Simon are still very much involved in the day-to-day running of Match.
At Match, we believe that successful and rewarding fostering is based on foster carers receiving excellent support.
We are committed to being alongside you at every stage in your fostering journey.
The initial success of creating their own family-owned agency for foster care in the West Midlands encouraged them to grow the service further, providing loving homes to more children, but without losing the relationship-based values that have always inspired Match.
Prospective foster parents can meet our dedicated social workers in different locations across West Midlands, including Birmingham, Worcestershire, Dudley, Sandwell, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Warwickshire, Stoke, Solihull, Coventry and Gloucestershire. We have offices in Droitwich and Stoke. We have highly skilled and friendly staff who are currently based across the West Midlands. Why not give us a call?
What is foster care at Match Foster Care?
We have a long experience of working as social workers and know that sometimes the care system can fail young people. Match Foster Care was created with the intention to provide loving and caring foster homes to children in need rather than placements in a system. That’s why we also support our carers with a multidisciplinary team including a registered nurse, a therapeutic practitioner and education workers for guidance, help, and advice.
We are passionate about giving children the best opportunities to grow safely and achieve their full potential in the care of foster parents.

We are committed to supporting both our foster children and our foster families. We build a close relationship with foster parents to get to know your strengths and weaknesses. This helps us to match the right children with you once you are approved. The better we know you, the better support we can provide for you, your family and your foster children. You will also have the chance to ask questions of our experienced foster carers and our fostered young people, providing reassurance to you that you know exactly what you are taking on.
