Meet Match Foster Care, your top choice for a fostering agency in Wolverhampton

At Match Faster Care Wolverhampton, we are not like other fostering agencies. We are proud to be an independent agency in the West Midlands. Being family-owned and run, we never have to give up on our principles and vision to meet the profit targets of external investors.

We have a long experience supporting foster families in Wolverhampton and around as well as the children between the ages of 0 and 17 in their care.

Founded in February 2012, Match Foster Care has gained a solid reputation thanks to the experience of our founder, Carrie Marsh, and her commitment to making fostering a positive experience for young people and their carers. Carrie has had first-hand experience with foster care since childhood, through her parents who fostered children. She knows the difference a loving, caring, and supportive environment can make. Therefore, she founded Match Foster Care with the desire to surround fostered children and foster parents with the same level of care and attention she has observed throughout her childhood.

To do so, Match Foster Care Wolverhampton supports foster parents along the fostering journey with a team of multidisciplinary specialists:

Match Foster Care FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

You will be pleased to know that foster parents do not require specialist skills. At Match Foster Care, you can apply to become a foster parent if you are at least 18 years of age. You will need to be a UK resident or have indefinite leave to remain. You will also need a spare bedroom for the child in your care.

We also welcome fostering applications from adults who work. However, your work doesn’t affect your foster care services and ensures that you can be available on short and long notice to look after a child. This is why we recommend part-time jobs if you want to maintain a professional career outside fostering. But our team works closely with you to determine your availability and whether it is suitable for fostering young people.

Yes, foster parents receive a fostering allowance for each child in their care. The amount is calculated based on the duration of the foster care services, and the age and needs of the child. You can consult our fostering allowance calculator to find out more.
