Resources for Your Children
The sons and daughters of foster carers make a huge contribution to fostering, and there are resources to help them along the way.
At Match Foster Care, your supervising social worker will include your children in visits and conversations, so they always have a chance to be heard. We can provide age-appropriate information about fostering, and our multi-disciplinary team can offer advice if your children need extra support.
Our family activity days and Christmas ball are open to the whole household, giving your children the chance to meet others from fostering families and simply have fun.
National organisations, such as The Fostering Network, also provide helpful guides and resources for sons and daughters who foster. Your social worker can help you find the right ones for your children's ages. Find out more on our Support for Your Own Children page, try our finance calculator, or get in touch with our team.
