How can I access 24 hour fostering support when I need immediate assistance?

Immediate Help Whenever You Need It

Accessing our 24 hour fostering support is simple. When you become a Match foster carer, you are given our out-of-hours number. You can call it at any time, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, whenever you need immediate help or advice.

During office hours, you can contact your supervising social worker or our office team directly. Outside office hours, your call is answered by experienced Match staff who know your family and the children in your care.

In an emergency where someone is at immediate risk, you should always call 999 first. You can then contact our out-of-hours line, and we will support you, advise you on next steps and let the right people know.

We make sure every carer knows how to reach us before their first placement begins, so you can feel confident that help is always just a phone call away. Find out more on our 24 Hour Support page, try our finance calculator, or get in touch with our team.
