Some children need specialist support to help them settle, heal and thrive. At Match Foster Care, our foster carers have access to a team of professionals who can offer just that.
Our therapeutic practitioner helps carers understand the impact of trauma and attachment difficulties, and offers practical strategies for supporting children with complex emotional needs. Our registered nurse provides advice on health, development and wellbeing, and can help you navigate health appointments and services.
Our education workers support children with school, from attendance and behaviour to exams and additional learning needs. They work closely with schools and with you, so the child has the best chance to succeed.
Alongside this, you receive specialist training, regular supervision from a social worker with a low caseload and 24/7 support from people who know your family.
