Support That Continues Every Step of the Way

Becoming approved is only the beginning. At Match Foster Care, we stay by your side throughout your fostering journey, with support and training that grows with you.

Every foster family has a dedicated supervising social worker who visits regularly, keeps in touch by phone and helps you through any challenges. Because our caseloads are low, your social worker has time to get to know you, your family and the children in your care. Outside office hours, our 24/7 support line is answered by staff who already know you.

Each year, your training needs are reviewed as part of your annual review, so your learning keeps pace with the children you care for. Our multi-disciplinary team, including a therapeutic practitioner, registered nurse and education workers, provide extra support whenever you need it.

We also bring our foster families together through support groups, family activity days and events such as our annual Christmas ball.
